China has 700 million mobile phone users, the biggest in the world (US: around 270 million). China Unicom is the second largest mobile provider in China, behind China Mobile. It has has over 140 million cell subscribers in China, making it the third largest mobile provider in the world. (AT&T has around 78 million).
