The largest bill in Chinese history

The largest bill denomination in Chinese currency history was the 6 billion- dollar (Chinese yuan) bill. It was issued in Xinjiang (now Xinjing Province of China) in 1949. It was only one box of matches worth 60 years ago, now its market value is 16000~18000 Chinese yuan (about $2632 in current exchange rate of Chinese Yuan vs. U.S. dollar ).
