Skills for the 21st Century Librarian

Found an old post by Meredith Farkas: Skills for the 21st Century Librarian. I completely agree with her, BUT if these abilities/skills/competencies (especially the "Higher Level Competencies" she listed) are appreciated or not or even hated, it really depends on what type of library you work at and the cultural environment of a particular institution, more specifically it depends on the library administration or/and your supervisor(s)
